An embodiment of transparency, integrity and trust, Mr. Pradeep Sureka, the leading force behind Sureka Group steered the course PAN India on these tenets for over four decades.

Ever since his mid-twenties, Mr. Sureka dedicated himself to building communities and establishing the Sureka Group as a reputed household and trusted name in the industry. Under his leadership over the last 50+ years, the group has not only grown and consolidated its position in Bengal, but has also expanded its activities to Andhra Pradesh, Odisha & Sri Lanka.

Co-promoter of prestigious consortium endeavors such as South City, Urbana, Elita Garden Vista in Kolkata and Altair in Colombo, Mr. Sureka has not just raised the bar on customer expectations but has also played a pivotal role in conceptualization and implementation of world-class design and construction through his personal interactions with globally renowned architects and consultants.

During his five years’ tenure as President of CREDAI Bengal, Mr. Sureka has been instrumental in the Government’s addressing many vital real estate issues, resulting in meaningful solutions for the real estate industry at large.

Outside of business and industry, the group is deeply committed towards the betterment of society. He is associated with many social welfare organizations like Ektara, Udayan Care, Indian Cancer Society and Manovikas Kendra to name a few, for providing upliftment and rehabilitation not only for the mentally challenged and handicapped but also for the destitute and under privileged women and children of Kolkata slums.

Mr. Vedant Sureka is a second-generation entrepreneur leading the Sureka Group with over five decades of legacy. Having taken the reins of Sureka Group, he upholds the Group’s core values of integrity, transparency, and trust, while steering the organization into its next phase of growth.

With a forward-looking mindset, Vedant has successfully steered the Sureka Group into the digital age, placing strong emphasis on innovation, technology-driven processes, and sustainable growth. Over the past ten years, he has played a pivotal role in expanding the Group’s footprint across Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Hyderabad, Goa, and Odisha, delivering landmark developments of nearly 2,000 affordable housing units. His leadership focuses on design excellence, customer-centricity, and community-oriented projects that create long-term value.

A hands-on and accessible leader, Vedant remains actively involved in all aspects of the business—from design conceptualization and strategic partnerships to stakeholder relationships—while preserving the high standards established over decades. He has also strengthened the Group’s commitment to corporate social responsibility, reflecting the family’s enduring belief in giving back to society and promoting sustainable development.

Vedant holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Psychology, and Business Foundations from Indiana University, Bloomington, USA. Beyond his professional pursuits, he is a passionate sportsman, an avid animal lover, and a strong advocate of continuous learning and leadership development.

He is one of the youngest Learning Officers of YPO Calcutta (Young Presidents’ Organization), a prestigious global network of over 34,000 chief executives across more than 150 countries. In this role, Vedant contributes to fostering leadership development, knowledge-sharing, and global best practices, further underscoring his commitment to building future-ready organizations and responsible leadership.
